Where do I start?... So, I'd like to just begin by saying thanks for visiting my site. That's all really. A lot of time, effort, and passion went into the creation of this site and I'm very happy where it's going thus far. I hope it continues in its current trajectory, helping thousands of people each month gain deeper insights into their mental well-being and emotionality.

WHY DID I MAKE THIS SITE?

I remember when I first learned that I had OCD. I was 17 and was experiencing my first full-blown obsession. Confused, defeated, and extremely anxious, I decided to look up online the symptoms of OCD.

See, even in my teens, I recall considering the possibility of me having the condition, even though I knew very little about it back then.

After landing on a page about OCD, I remember vividly leering at the bright blue light of my monitor in my dark room with my jaw dropped. I was utterly shocked as to how many symptoms I had and how it seemed as if the very article I was reading was written about me in particular.

In lieu of writing every additional detail that followed this event, it was that moment in time which eventually lead me to get mental health treatment for my symptoms.

I aim to recreate this very eye-opening and profound experience for other people who similarly feel confused, defeated, and anxious about their emotions or symptoms, whatever that may entail.

While the mental health tests found throughout this site are not diagnostic tools, the introspection required when taking them can be the catalyst, that initial spark to ignite action within you to finally seek therapy (which I believe every person should do at some point in their life).

This, in addition to the sheer joy I experience when working on my site, albeit updating or creating new pages, improving SEO, working on email campaigns, or optimizing digital ads, are all reasons why I created this site in particular and why I am proud to continue working on it every day.
